Osteopathy is a system of manual medicine based on the relationship between body structure and health. The aim is to re-establish the neuro-musculo-skeletal balance in the whole body, releasing strains and blockages, and returning mobility to areas that have lost it. By this, the function of circulatory and nervous systems is favoured, immune function is enhanced, and a regulatory effect at all levels is obtained.
The osteopathic approach is patient-centred. Treatment plans are adjusted to the specific characteristics of the individual, aiming to offer the better possible support to the natural self-healing mechanisms. It can be used for the treatment of many conditions, not only for those that affect the musculo-skeletal system. Techniques are gentle, painless, and completely safe.

I graduated in physiotherapy in 1996 (EU Gimbernat, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona), and I worked in rehabilitation for 5 years, in the fields of rheumatology, traumatology, and sport injuries. In 2003 I graduated with the first class at Escola d’Osteopatia de Barcelona-European School of Osteopathy, and since then I have worked as an osteopath in different practices in Barcelona (Centre Still, ICATME-Institut Universitari Dexeus, Eurosport, Clínica d’Osteopatia de Barcelona). In October 2007 I opened my own practice in Sant Cugat del Vallès.
